A temporary email with the name you choose
Sometimes a random address won’t do: you have to read it out, type it on your phone or simply remember it. Here you choose what goes before the @.
Choose your address
Press “Choose a name”, type the one you want, and that’s it: your mailbox now receives mail at that address.
If the name is taken, try another one.
When it comes in handy
When you have to type the address by hand, read it out to someone, or use it a few times over the next hour without copying it.
It’s just as temporary as a random one: when it expires, it disappears with its messages.
Keep in mind
When your mailbox expires, the name is free again and someone else could choose it later. Don’t use it for anything you’ll need to receive further down the line.
If you need more time, renew it before it expires.
